This special project was a temporary rental during a full-home renovation. How do you make a short-term space feel comfortable and personal when you can’t make any permanent changes? The answer: creative window treatments, repurposing spaces and finding homes for special pieces. An entry became a library, a sunken living room a listening lounge and a few extra square feet a dining room. Temporary, yes. College rental vibes, no.
