Eight Antique Pieces Designers Will Never Pass Up
Callie Windle, who runs an eponymous firm in Dallas, Texas, notes that one shouldn't forget about great pieces of antique lighting.
"A good electrician can make sure your wiring is safe, so there's no reason not to consider antique chandeliers, pendants, or sconces," she says. "The patina these fixtures offer is unmatched."
Windle also likes to shop for warm, wooden case goods and end tables, oftentimes thinking beyond their original use. "I love using an inlaid end table or small chest as a nightstand, or repurposing a worn, rustic cabinet as a bar in a kitchen," she says.
